No, not my new lover. It’s the long awaited first case of H1N1 to descend upon this tiny sunny island which cannot be found on the map or sometimes if you are lucky, you can spot it as a small red dot.
Following the 1st case closely are three more cases in rapid succession. I am rather surprised that after the 1st case which has just been discovered, the other cases have make their presence felt so quickly. I thought they would be taking their own sweet time to evolve, just like the long time the 1st case has taken to make its first appearance like a shy little bride behind her veil.
According to the Health minister, we are well prepared for it after 5 weeks of anticipation and alertness. Bravo.
In the meantime the person who would be basking in the H1N1 atmosphere is definitely the maid of the first H1N1 case. She is now in a holiday resort as part of the quarantine but I’m sure she will enjoy the reprieve. Very much so. =D
